...from Irving Berlin.... There were never such devoted sisters, Never had to have a chaperone, no sir, I’m there to keep my eye on her Caring, sharing Every little thing that we are wearing When a certain gentleman arrived from rome She wore the dress, and I stayed home All kinds of weather, We stick together The same in the rain and sun Two different faces, But in tight places We think and we act as one Those who’ve seen us Know that not a thing could come between us Many men have tried to split us up, But no one can Lord help the mister who comes between me and my sister And lord help the sister, who comes between me and my man
This is funny..........this morning, out of nowhere, Malachy begins singing: We had joy we had fun, we had seasons in the sun.....
This kid's memory for songs is amazing.........he has heard it one time in his life........about two weeks ago. I do not go around singing it, either. How does he remember these songs?
When he was only 1-2, he would hum or "sing" songs from movies he had seen once, 6 mos before. Still does that.
We've come so far. Little did we know that you craving the beach would get worse when I could visit daily. And little did I know everything in my life would fall apart enough that I would LEAVE the beach... I am so sad on that one level. I sure miss Hawaii.
