Week One

Yippee, seven days no water.  We'd turn it on temporarily in order to take showers and do laundry/dishes/etc. but because it's taking so long to dry out, if we turn it on, it will take that much longer, and until it's dry, we won't even know what's broken and how to fix it.  We have gone to the beach a couple times, we eat out often, very cheaply, lots of water, hoping for bad service, LOL.    We went to Alexis's for a shower... use rubbing alcohol, peroxide, and sanitizer.  LOTS underarm powder!

I'm tired though, it takes until about four or five AM to get it down, the heat. Dad says I can go there, as does Alexis, but they don't have air either (and Alexis has thinner air and dad's house is overwhelming).  Jenn would invite me in a heartbeat, and has, but she needs to be with her immediate family while pregnant and again, too overwhelming, though she is awesome.

So, we wait.   We will be okay.  I'm sure we lived much worse, like in Venice on Electric Avenue.
